DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Management Specialist III, where you'll contribute to growth and innovation across our industry-leading portfolio. You'll develop product strategy, guide new product introductions, and ensure commercial success while making a meaningful impact on science and healthcare. Working collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, you'll translate customer needs into effective solutions that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
As a key member of the Product Management team, you'll manage the complete product lifecycle - from market analysis and voice of customer research through product development, launch, and ongoing optimization. You'll develop pricing strategies, conduct competitive analysis, and create effective marketing programs to drive adoption. This role offers excellent opportunities to build strategic relationships with customers and key opinion leaders while contributing to scientific advances.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in product management, marketing or related commercial experience in life sciences/scientific products industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Business or related field
• Additional certifications in Product Management or Marketing beneficial
• Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and supporting business growth
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities for forecasting and business planning
• Excellent project management skills with ability to guide cross-functional initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
• Deep understanding of customer clinical laboratory workflows and ability to translate needs into product requirements
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful product launches and marketing campaigns
• Experience with product lifecycle management and stage-gate development processes
• Proficiency with business applications including Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Customer-centric mindset with consultative approach to solution development
• Travel required for customer/site visits and industry events up to 30%
• Additional language skills beneficial
• Domain expertise in relevant scientific/technical areas preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Texas is $83,300.00–$122,200.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
