Job Description

Motorola Solutions is looking for a Product Manager to own Product Management across the Hindsight recording platform. You'll be responsible for licensing and subscription management, system integrations, product roadmap, and delivering a unified emergency communications recording experience across the Hindsight suite of products. You'll be part of an empowered product team operating with a startup mindset inside a large enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Product Management for Hindsight, you'll own the billing foundation that powers monetization across our unified platform, working directly with engineering, finance, and operations to build systems that scale. This role is hands-on: you'll run discovery, define outcomes, ship products, and measure results.

Responsibilities:
Run Continuous Discovery: Talk to customers, finance teams, and operations stakeholders regularly. Conduct interviews, observe billing workflows, analyze usage and payment data, and synthesize what you learn into clear problem statements and opportunity assessments.
Ship Product That Matters: Work with engineering and design to move from problem to solution to delivery. Write clear product specs, make scope trade-offs, and ensure what ships actually solves the problem you set out to solve.
Measure Impact: Define success metrics for your area and instrument your product to track them. Use data to inform decisions, validate hypotheses, and demonstrate business impact.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Finance, Sales Operations, ERP teams, and other product teams within Motorola Solutions to ensure feature changes are coordinated, launches are clean, and feedback from the field shapes the roadmap.
Understand the Landscape: Stay sharp on emergency communication trends. Use that knowledge to inform how Hindsight structures features, pricing, packaging, and subscription management.
Competitive Product: Build competitive analysis and review where our product stands in the overall market.
Sales/Marketing Enablement: Work with the sales and marketing teams to to align product catalogs and sales materials to achieve smooth go to market processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with at least 5+ years of professional experience in a high tech environment with 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.

Experience with emergency communications systems, radio systems, call handling systems or cloud hosted platforms.

Demonstrated ability to run customer discovery and translate findings into product decisions.

Comfortable working directly with engineering teams, including the ability to engage in technical discussions about architecture and trade-offs.

Experience defining and tracking product metrics, and using data to drive prioritization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategy and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A bias toward action and learning over perfection, with experience shipping product iteratively.

What Sets You Apart:

AI Fascination and Vibe Coding Experience: Gone are the days when only the engineers could code. We expect you to be able to stand up AI generated prototypes rapidly and iterate on them.

Multi-Sided Ecosystem Thinking: You've worked with products that serve multiple stakeholder types (partners, installers, integrators, end-users) and understand the trade-offs involved.

Technical Depth: A technical background (CS, engineering, or similar) that lets you go deep with engineering on system design, APIs, and platform architecture.

Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $ $140,000 USD.

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
