Summary:

In this role, you will support the development and enhancement of a single product by translating client and stakeholder needs into prioritized backlogs and clear, actionable requirements. You will serve as the voice of the customer, collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, and ensure product delivery aligns with business goals and roadmap priorities. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, support release readiness, and contribute to ongoing product communication and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog for an individual product, continuously evaluating and adjusting priorities to align with business goals and release plans.
  • Gather, clarify, and document user and business requirements, translating them into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by incorporating user feedback, stakeholder input, and qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies for a single scrum team, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, User Experience (UX), Business Analysts (BAs), and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure solutions meet customer needs and are ready for release.
  • Partner with QA to support test strategy, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, conduct impact analysis, and sign off on completed stories and features.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, product management, and development teams, providing product updates and addressing questions from internal and external users.
  • Utilize Agile and data tools to manage backlog health, track progress, and support performance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant Product Owner experience required.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments and familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, dashboards and reporting is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences required.
  • Experience with finance and supply chain data preferred.
  • Experience writing SQL Queries preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
