Barstool Sports is seeking a Production Intern to join our growing Production team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience across various aspects of production, assisting on multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll work closely with producers, contribute to content creation, and gain firsthand experience in studio shows, podcasts, and more. This internship runs from May 26 to August 28 and is based 100% in our Chicago office.

What You'll Do
  • Work alongside and shadow Producers on new and existing Barstool Sports productions.
  • Help clip, edit, and distribute key moments from podcasts across social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube), ensuring viral reach and audience engagement.
  • Assist with the post-production workflow, including helping with audio editing, creating graphics, and preparing content for publishing.
  • Brainstorm, develop and pitch new content ideas to grow audience engagement.
  • Help set up and break down sets/shoots, ensuring smooth production operations.
  • Work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office, with flexibility for live events and weekend coverage as needed.
What You Have
  • A strong familiarity with Barstool Sports content and its unique brand voice.
  • Experience with social media management, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.) and social content creation.
  • An understanding of podcast production, including audio editing and publishing.
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • An up-to-date production reel showcasing your work.

Pay Rate: $16.60/hr
