The Operations Supervisor manages workflow, assigns tasks, ensures safety, monitors compliance, and coaches team members while reporting to senior management.

The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.
Work Location: County Club Hills, IL
Work Schedule: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $65,000 - $82,500 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
- Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Provides 100% customer satisfaction.
- Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
- Helps maintain attendance and tardiness records.
- Monitors daily compliance with safety procedures.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports.
- Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
- Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
- Oversee Production/Co-Pack associates.
- Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.
- High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain, general business relevant
field is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least three years proven experience as supervisor or relevant role in a distribution, 3PL or
warehouse environment.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and WMS software.
• Experience with time keeping; ADP E-time is a plus
