Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

We are currently looking to add a Production Supervisor – Night Shift to our team. This position will play an integral role in overseeing our nightly production operations ensuring our products are made safely while maintaining quality, production efficiency, and meeting production demand. This role is responsible for effectively leading employees in a manner that drives teamwork, communication and effectiveness while fostering development and accountability. 

The typical Night Shift production schedule is Monday–Thursday from 8pm to 6:30 am, with additional production on Friday nights as needed. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility in their schedule to overlap with other shifts for training, communication, and collaboration.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily production activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals
  • Schedule and assign work to optimize labor, equipment, and materials
  • Monitor production flow and adjust schedules as needed
  • Train, coach, and develop production employees
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain production records, timecards, and quality documentation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Purchasing and Maintenance
  • Track KPIs and drive performance in safety, quality, and productivity

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience (40+ employees)
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and ADP WorkforceNow preferred
  • Flexography or paper/pulp manufacturing experience is a plus

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled production facility
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial equipment
  • PPE required at all times
