Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Program Manager to join the VC-25B Program Management team in San Antonio, TX.
The VC-25 Systems and Product Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) is seeking a Program Manager to partner with the Product Support Program Manager to lead Supply Support. This role is responsible for the comprehensive program leadership of contracted Statements of Work (SOW) and multiple Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all integrated product teams (IPTs), engineering disciplines, and the United States Air Force customer to ensure the seamless execution of program objectives. By leveraging the strengths and capabilities of the Boeing Company, the Program Manager will develop and implement effective sustainment strategies, ensuring that all Supply Support initiatives align with customer expectations and operational requirements.
In addition to overseeing program execution, the Program Manager will assume a critical role in fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a proactive leader who can motivate teams, promote a productive work environment, and drive successful outcomes in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
  • Identifies, mitigates and leads the resolution of Supply Support risks and issues
  • Supports the Product Support program manager in leading program execution
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
  • Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
  • Leads development of the VC-25B Supply Support sustainment strategy

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5 or more years of experience implementing Program Management Best Practices
  • 5 or more years of experience leading teams
  • Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • Experience with DoD products/programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience executing Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft (MCDA) Programs/Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Experience leading teams performing spares and support equipment procurement
  • Experience with spares and support equipment DD250 process
  • Experience working with multi-disciplined & multi-organizational teams
  • Prior program or project management experience
  • Experience supporting Request for Proposals (RFPs) through the Enterprise Gated Process
  • Experience in Industrial Security, Facilities Security, Personnel Security, and/or Intelligence in a cleared environment

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $136,000 - $184,000
