Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level Project Management Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Heath, Ohio.
This position is for an associate or mid-level project management specialist to work with a cross-functional team on several challenging and dynamic U.S. Navy Government production and test programs. The candidate will be asked to work with engineering, operations, and other program functions to produce program plans and provide many types of customer reports. The candidate will be challenged to provide alternate planning options, innovative process improvements, and risk reduction solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
  • Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
  • Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience working on U.S. Navy programs or equivalent projects
  • Experience providing formal Government Earned Value Management analysis
  • Experience with Configuration and Change Management
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Prior property and inventory management & control responsibility
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 4 trips per year)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Military customer leadership interface and reporting experience / (field service and/or leadership)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $76,500 - $103,500
Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $94,350 - $127,650
