Wolverine Asset Management is seeking highly motivated and intellectually curious individuals to join our team as Quantitative Analysts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our relative value arbitrage strategy portfolio management teams. Analysts at Wolverine play a critical role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the systems, models, and research that drive our investment decisions. What You'll Do

  • Partner with portfolio managers to analyze, develop, and improve trading strategies and models.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support investment decisions across multiple asset classes.
  • Verify, normalize, and maintain large and complex data sets.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance tools, processes, and systems critical to daily desk operations.
  • Assist in the development of new strategies through data mining, statistical analysis, and problem solving.
  • Continuously explore ways to optimize performance, streamline processes, and identify new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and quantitative problem solving.
  • Programming experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a data-driven research environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance, securities trading, or financial markets preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competitive mindset

Base salary is $70,000 - $110,000. Base salary is only one part of Wolverine Asset Management total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
