The opportunity

Mosaic is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales for its Starlink door-to-door sales program. As one of two Regional Sales Managers who split responsibility for the country, you will lead college student sales representatives across participating campuses in your region. Your priority is to deliver sales results through hands-on coaching, active performance management, and clear accountability.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will turn the sales approach and messaging aligned with Starlink/SpaceX leadership into effective execution at the doorstep. Your team will sell door-to-door in residential communities surrounding participating campuses. You will be accountable for regional sales and qualified activation goals, representative productivity, and consistent delivery of client expectations in the field.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do
  • Own regional sales results. Translate national goals into clear campus and individual targets, monitor daily activity and weekly performance, and drive representatives to meet or exceed expectations.

  • Direct door-to-door execution. Set expectations for canvassing schedules, territory coverage, doors knocked, customer conversations, and conversion. Keep representatives focused on productive selling activity.

  • Coach in the field. Walk residential routes with representatives, observe doorstep conversations, demonstrate effective introductions and closing techniques, and improve objection handling and follow-up.

  • Hold every representative accountable. Run regular check-ins and performance reviews, address missed commitments promptly, and set specific improvement plans with deadlines. Partner with the National Sales Manager and HR on corrective action and staffing changes when needed.

  • Build a motivated, competitive team. Recognize strong results, share successful selling techniques across campuses, and reinforce the persistence and resilience required to succeed in door-to-door sales.

  • Put the approved Starlink sales approach and messaging into practice. Ensure representatives understand the offer and customer experience expectations; share field feedback with the National Sales Manager and implement agreed changes quickly.

  • Partner with recruiting and training teams to hire sales-motivated students, get them ready to sell, and accelerate their productivity. Coordinate coverage around student availability and address staffing gaps quickly.

  • Keep the National Sales Manager informed with accurate results, a realistic forecast, and clear recovery plans. Resolve field issues promptly and escalate risks to sales performance or client satisfaction.

QualificationsWhat you bring
  • A proven record of leading door-to-door or residential direct sales teams and achieving sales targets through active coaching and performance management.

  • Experience managing a dispersed sales team across multiple territories or locations, with clear expectations and consistent follow-through.

  • Strong personal selling skills and the confidence to demonstrate effective doorstep conversations, handle rejection, overcome objections, and close sales.

  • The ability to use activity and conversion data to identify performance gaps, take decisive action, and improve results quickly.

  • A hands-on, results-driven leadership style and strong communication skills. Experience with telecom, internet service, or college student sales teams is a plus.

Field expectations

Regular travel across the assigned region and in-person coaching during residential canvassing are required, with flexibility for evening and weekend selling periods. You will model respectful, effective door-to-door selling and ensure representatives follow approved messaging and field safety practices.
