💼 About the Role
  • As our Regional Marketing Specialist in Chicago, you will own marketing for the US, one of our key growth markets for 2027.

  • You will be our first marketer in the US time zone, working closely with our growing US sales team and the wider marketing team in the UK and EU.

  • Your time will split roughly 40/60 between events and regional marketing, from planning and delivering US events (such as FreightWaves and Manifest) to running campaigns that generate awareness, leads and pipeline.

  • This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, with an ideal start date in Q1 2027.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
  • Own the US marketing plan collaborating with Sales, covering email, paid search, paid and organic social, SEO and content

  • Plan and run US campaigns end to end, from brief to reporting, generating awareness, leads and pipeline

  • Deliver US events with our Events Manager: pre-event outreach, on-site execution and follow-up

  • Localize and generate new case studies, customer wins and sales collateral for US buyers, and adapt messaging by region and vertical

  • Enable US Sales with competitive positioning, battlecards and partner co-marketing support

  • Build Qargo’s presence with US freight and trucking associations and community events

  • Report monthly on US leads, pipeline and event ROI

Where this role can grow

  • As the US market scales, you’ll have the opportunity to launch an ABM program for top target accounts and test new channels such as PR and Meta ads.

✅ Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, owning campaigns and events

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or similar (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience running multi-channel campaigns (email, paid, SEO)

  • Hands-on experience with event marketing and logistics

  • Strong project management, data and reporting skills, and comfortable being measured on pipeline

  • Fluent or native English

  • Knowledge of tools such as HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SEMrush, WordPress, Canva and ZoomInfo

  • An independent self-starter who is comfortable as the only marketer in the US time zone and works well asynchronously with the UK and EU team

  • Builds strong relationships with Sales and BDMs

  • Happy to travel for US events

  • Nice to have: a transport, logistics or freight tech background; B2B SaaS or TMS experience; experience with US trade shows such as Manifest or Truckload; partner or co-marketing experience
