As our Revenue Finance Analyst, you will…

Play a critical role driving financial performance and supporting client teams by providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations. This role partners closely with Client Service and Operations to ensure accurate forecasting, revenue recognition and profitability management. 

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned client accounts, supporting client leads in managing budgets, forecasts and profitability.
  • Develop financial models to track client revenue, expenses and margins, ensuring alignment with contract terms and scopes of work.
  • Review Client Statements of Work (SOWs) and pricing proposals to provide financial guidance and ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Monitor revenue recognition and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual revenue forecasts at the client level

What You'll Bring

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within a  professional services or client -facing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree ​in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred, and/ or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
  • Netsuite ERP & SPP background a plus
  • Familiarity using financial reporting systems
  • Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, client profitability and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Solid organizational skills

For this role, we prioritize hybrid candidates in Chicago, IL, but may consider candidates near other MERGE hubs based on the role and team’s needs. If fully remote is listed as an option, we are also open to U.S.-based candidates who would work remotely.

Hybrid work is our default approach. We value time together for collaboration, relationship building, and key moments. Managers and team leaders determine in-person expectations based on what best supports their team, clients, and business needs. Some teams and roles require more regular in-person presence than others.

MERGE has hubs in Chicago, New York City, Boston, Kansas City, Raleigh, Denver, Atlanta, and St. Louis. Regardless of work arrangement, team members may be required to travel to a MERGE hub for meetings, team gatherings, events, or other business needs.

MERGE believes in transparency and equity. In accordance with state regulations, we’re proud to include salary ranges in our job postings to ensure fair compensation practices.

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000, based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
