Harris School Solutions is seeking a strategic and hands-on Sales & Marketing Operations Lead to join our growing team. Your purpose will be to increase sales by improving the quality and quantity of leads with messaging and engagement.  You will sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, and AI, with responsibility for driving high-impact marketing campaigns, enabling sales account managers with the right content and tools, and leveraging AI to improve efficiency, insight, and execution. You’ll serve as a strategic and operational leader on the sales and marketing team, increasing execution quality and  velocity across marketing initiatives. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in public sector software experience—K–12 education a strong plus—and you thrive in a fast-paced, fully-remote, SaaS-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a coordinated marketing calendar that aligns product launches/releases, conference and event outreach, lifecycle marketing, and account-based initiatives.

  • Deploy and manage campaigns across multiple channels—including website, email, social media, digital advertising, events, and trade shows—ensuring message consistency, brand alignment, and effective audience targeting.

  • Execute performance marketing initiatives such as search engine marketing, paid social, audience targeting, and keyword research.

  • Working skills of AI-enabled tools and workflows, with an understanding of how AI can be responsibly applied to improve efficiency, insight, and scale.

  • Analyze campaign performance and return on investment (ROI), translating engagement into clear insights for optimization and future planning.

  • Partner closely with sales leadership and account managers to support sales enablement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, professional services, and support teams to ensure external messaging accurately reflects product capabilities, implementation realities, and customer value.

  • Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to design workflows, create content, accelerate research and analysis, and reduce manual work, improving overall productivity and execution velocity across sales and marketing functions.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize marketing and sales technology platforms, ensuring effective use of marketing and AI platforms.

Desired Skills and Background:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial operations within public sector SaaS; K–12 education experience is strongly preferred.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and action-oriented, with a strong “get things done” mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns tied to revenue and pipeline outcomes.

  • Strong operational mindset with a proven ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a results-driven environment.

  • High level of fluency with sales and marketing platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics tools, and content management systems.

  • Strong writing and design sensibility, with the ability to develop clear, engaging messaging and collaborate effectively with designers and content contributors.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across sales, product, professional services, and support teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree
