Position Summary

Sales professionals at DEX play a critical role in helping businesses improve their operations through technology solutions while driving new revenue growth throughout their assigned territory.

Depending on experience and business needs, responsibilities may range from lead generation and appointment setting to managing the complete sales cycle, developing strategic customer relationships, and closing new business.

Successful candidates are competitive, self-motivated professionals who enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, in-person canvassing, social selling, and other lead generation activities.
  • Identify decision-makers and qualify prospective business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM and other sales tools.
  • Schedule appointments and conduct customer meetings.
  • Perform needs assessments and recommend customized technology solutions.
  • Present products and services to business owners and executive decision-makers.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build long-term customer relationships while identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and teammates to execute territory growth strategies.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and emerging technology solutions.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Represent DEX professionally within the local business community.

Qualifications

  • Prospecting, appointment setting, or outside sales experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.

Working Conditions

  • Occasional evening or additional hours may be required to support customer and business needs.
Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, driving, computer use, and occasional lifting or moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds with appropriate assistance.
