PerkSpot is searching for a Account Executive to join our Merchant Partnerships team! Founded in 2006, PerkSpot is dedicated to inspiring others to love where they work by providing exclusive access to the best discounts available - anywhere. We ensure employees see offers curated to their interests, allowing them to save on electronics, home goods, meal delivery, mortgages, travel, and all the other little-and big-things that will make life a bit easier.
PerkSpot is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join our Merchant Partnerships team. As a member of the Partnerships team, you'll be personally responsible for finding and partnering with medium-to-large national brands to offer exclusive discounts to over 21 million users.
This role will focus on mid-tier to large partners; you will work through your list of accounts and warm leads to set up a call to discuss our product. Some cold outreach via email, phone, and/or other sources is required to acquire new business.
What you'll accomplish:

• Meet the team. Culture is huge at PerkSpot. Take this time to meet the team and learn the ins and outs of the business, as well as gain a better understanding of the competitive advertising and marketing industry landscape
• Get acquainted with account portfolio, establish category expertise, and develop a strategic plan of action
• Reach out and engage with new partner prospects to launch new campaigns on PerkSpot
• You'll onboard hundreds of new brand campaigns and drive millions of dollars in purchases of products and services
• You'll be personally responsible for millions of dollars in advertising revenue

What we're looking for:

• 1-5 years' experience in sales, Advertising/Marketing/E-commerce a plus
• A proven track record of previous sales success, preferably enterprise-level eCommerce sales
• Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite experience is preferred
• Previous experience working with direct brands, advertising agencies and affiliate networks
• Strong sales negotiation, organizational, and written skills
