Director of Automotive Partnerships

It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Director of Automotive Partnerships to our team.
The Director of Automotive Partnerships is responsible for leading business and partnership development activities. You will work with our VP of Corporate Development and members of the team to architect the business development strategy and drive the execution of that strategy to propel the business forward. Specifically, Hireology has a leading market position in Retail Automotive, and you will be able to take it to new heights, as well as lead growth initiatives in adjacent markets. You will have a unique opportunity to solve ambiguous problems in collaboration with our partners and Hireology business units to achieve outsized impact.
As our Director of Automotive Partnerships, you'll be responsible for:
Defining and delivering the business and partnership development strategy that accelerates the Automotive business directly and indirectly to exceed its goals
Actively source opportunities that have a compounding positive impact on the business. These opportunities may include but are not limited to:
Referral, revenue share, and channel partnerships
Endorsements, co-marketing activities with third parties (e.g., industry associations)
Integrations with key third-party systems (e.g., payroll, job boards)
Thought leadership
Driving the deal process including negotiation, contracting, and stakeholder alignment
Actively contribute in the ongoing management and development of existing partners through active engagement, QBRs
Be the voice of Hireology in the Automotive industry through the following activities:
Be a credible ambassador and public speaker to deliver thought leadership within the industry that supports Hireology’s goals
Become a voice of the Automotive industry within Hireology through the following activities:
Attend major conferences to network with key partners and influential parties, to learn about industry themes that inform the Automotive strategy
Gather competitive intelligence that informs Sales, Marketing and Product strategy to win in the Automotive vertical
Collaboratively manage existing strategic partnerships and extract untapped value through new, innovative initiatives
Engage with Leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Business Operations, Finance on new and ongoing initiatives
Wearing many hats and potentially work on a variety of other projects

5-7 years of external-facing business development experience (e.g., consulting, partnerships) demonstrating ability to form C-suite level relationships
2-4 years of cross-functional project or program management background
Demonstrated ability to significantly increase top-line revenue through influence and partner programs
Excellent negotiation, business model development, problem-solving, and empathy skills
Superior verbal and written communicator that ensures parties are aligned and has the tact to keep everyone accountable to themselves and each other
Executive presence with ability to keynote and run facilitation sessions in front of senior industry leaders
Strong command with partner marketing and product development processes
Analytical mindset and ability to link activities to creation of measured business value
Automotive experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Travel up to 50%
