Director of Partnerships

Solstice’s partnership team manages and grows relationships with Solstice’s strategic partners including Pivotal, Amazon Web Services, Google, VMware, Elastic, and others. They collaborate closely with each partner’s corporate leadership and regional sales teams to develop joint sales motions, delivery models, and marketing initiatives. Internally, the team works with Solstice’s cloud, AI, and data practice leads to align strategies and ensure Solstice’s delivery teams are equipped to leverage partner technology.
The Director of Partnerships will:
- Work closely with our executive team and CTO to develop and continually iterate on the organization’s partnership strategy
- While primarily focused on Solstice’s strategy, you’ll also work closely with our parent company Kin + Carta, and sister companies in the UK to define a new global partnership strategy
- Set quarterly objectives and metrics for the partner channel
- Maintain, grow, and initiate relationships with strategic partners
- Build relationships with corporate leadership and local sales leadership
- Develop joint sales offerings
- Navigate requirements for official partner programs
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and resources to support partnership activities (i.e. training and certifications, sales rep engagement)
- Manage 1-2 partner managers on the team
- Work with head of marketing to execute partner marketing strategy
- Keep up with industry news and trends
- Travel up to 50%
This is you:
- You have 10+ years of in business development, partnerships, or channel sales
- Demonstrated track record developing and managing global partnerships and driving partner channel growth
- Marketing/demand generation program experience
- Ready to scale the partner channel at a growing organization
- Well versed in digital and cloud technologies. You may not be technical yourself, but you can talk the talk
- Building relationships comes naturally
- Strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills
- You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and experiment
- Strong executive level communication skills
