Hireology is currently looking for a Business Development Leader to help assist the sales organization as we continue to scale and grow. We need driven, sales-focused individuals that have both short and long-term goals in mind to ensure the right people and processes are in place to scale this segment of our business. This individual will garner unparalleled experience in working for an early stage business and performance will be rewarded with advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:

  • Hire, Train and Manage team of Business Development Representatives
  • Lead a team of 8-10 BDR's to drive quality sales pipeline opportunities to our auto, healthcare, hospitality, hotel, professional and consumer service teams
  • Build and implement KPI's, metrics and processes that result in a healthy conversion of leads to customers
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Sales Management, Sales Ops & Marketing to set strategy and implement best practices across the BDR team
  • Develop BDR's into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions
  • Report on daily, weekly and monthly sales activity, forecasting and results to Sales Management

Requirements:

  • Pathological optimism and a can't-lose attitude, with a healthy dose of reality
  • 1+ years hands-on management experience in a sales environment managing BDR and or SDR teams
  • Consistent track record of overachievement of quota expectations
  • High growth technology/SaaS strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Gong, Groove, Zoominfo and/or other sales tools a major plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
