Dataiku is looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant specialized in Financial Services (e.g., Retail Banking, Credit Cards, Investment Banking, Insurance, Fintech, or other related experience) to join Dataiku’s Business Solutions team. The Senior Solutions Consultant will support sales teams as a Subject Matter Expert for Financial Services, and will manage  from concept and design to go-to-market the development of data, analytics and AI solutions relevant to Financial Services. Your role will be key in supporting the accelerated development of Dataiku in the Financial Services space and ensuring we provide thought-leadership to clients across the industry on their ambitious transformation trajectories. Your mission will be run in tight partnership with all Dataiku’s key teams: Sales, Customer, Partnership, Product and R&D.
 
In this role you will:
 
Be a Subject Matter Expert for Financial Services globally: Leverage your expertise and experience of Financial Services (industry process understanding, challenges, objectives, regulatory context, specific areas of focus for analytics and related roles, use-cases and impact) to support the development of Dataiku’s reputation and capabilities as a thought-partner and enabler of success with Financial Services firms:

  • Articulate Dataiku’s specific value proposition for Financial Services firms, and enable internal and external facing teams to do the same.
  • Support the capitalization of internal knowledge and client experiences in the Financial Services space (e.g., adoption stories, use-cases) by developing relevant material to share internally and externally.
  • Develop strong assets (presentations, marketing material, internal briefings) to convey vision in an impactful manner and act as a key spokesperson in events, with media and all other required engagements to enhance Dataiku’s positioning.
  • Support sales and customer activities targeting Financial Services firms: help sales teams understand customer dynamics, act as a key spokesperson with Financial Services prospects and customers, support executive engagement on this client segment internally.
  • Boost Dataiku’s visibility in the market as a compelling and effective thought-partner with Financial Services firms.
  • Help build impactful partnerships to accelerate development in the Financial Services space.

Enrich Dataiku’s Financial Services Solution range: As a key member of Dataiku’s Business Solutions team, you will play an instrumental role in the development of Dataiku Solutions: fully fledged data projects and analytical applications which directly address real-world needs for clients in Financial Services with a focus on priority themes (e.g., ESG, risk management, customer revenue) and roles. Your role will be to imagine and design packaged projects which showcase Dataiku’s value proposition in a compelling way for prospective clients and act as strong accelerators to value delivery for our full range of clients.

  • Fuel and qualify the Solutions development pipeline through business experience, client workshops, market research, partnership discussions, and more.
  • Develop solid business plans to prioritize the pipeline and organize the go-to-market approach.  
  • Act as a business lead and project owner for selected initiatives, supporting business requirements and user stories definition in collaboration with assigned Solution Data Scientist, lead work with any involved customer or partner, deliver smooth project management across all dimensions, ensure alignment with all internal teams and manage critical dependencies.
  • Support a global push for existing and new Solutions by structuring relevant documents, enabling internal teams, leading customer interactions, building go-to-market material, and more. Handle market feedback collection to support definition and prioritization of new Solution versions

Who you are:

  • 7 to 10+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry, with experience and understanding of one or more business lines or products, or an industry-specialized function such as Risk Management.
  • Clear understanding of the challenges faced by teams delivering on data, analytics and AI within their business or function and how platforms such as Dataiku can help.
  • Strong understanding of how financial services firms position themselves within the consumer, commercial or institutional markets, and how their product lines make revenue and incur cost.
  • Understanding of the impact and management of regulatory obligations by financial services firms.
  • Proven track-record of designing and implementing analytics embedded solutions or tackling challenging transformation topics with a strong operational and/or data dimension.
  • Experience working within a role as part of, or in direct support of, leadership teams.
  • Strong experience in project management, capable of orchestrating multiple projects while supporting associated teams simultaneously.
  • Able to create detailed recommendations and offer clear guidance to others, and capable and willing to directly build and deliver projects yourself.
  • Proven track record working with diverse teams, and successfully engaging them on complex or specialized topics.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), able to clearly articulate and present complex situations and concepts to varied audiences.
  • Able to travel (10% of the time).
Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.

US only national base pay ranges

$150,000$180,000 USD
