Job Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of engineering to create innovative solutions for our clients. We are bringing the transportation industry to the cloud and looking for ways to leverage data analytics to provide additional value to our customers. It is a journey that will allow you to: 

• Develop subject matter expertise related to client applications, including leveraging cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Define implementation architectures, developing an expertise in business processes and employed technologies and obtaining broad knowledge around the existing application and service landscape
• Deliver outstanding, high quality deliverables throughout the project with little oversight and direction
• Solve business problems through the process of identifying and analyzing detailed requirements to translate business vision into system design and project execution
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Orchestrate backend APIs and optimize the application for speed and scalability
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Lead design and architecture discussions with clients
• Lead design, estimation, planning and implementation of solutions
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Mentor junior team members
• Contribute to product vision as the application evolves
• Collaborate with the team to make key technology decisions and ensure we are performing the right work at the right time
• Explore and propose new technologies

Skills And Qualifications

We are looking for engineers with the following experience:

• Several years of experience in application/system architecture and implementation of custom developed solutions (and/or product integration projects)
• Understanding of modern web standards and architectures
• Exceptional communication skills

• Understanding of software development and project methodologies
• Experience in a consulting or client-facing role
• Experience managing the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience designing high scale, transactional, highly available systems and robust applications with clients of all sizes
