About the role:

We are hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Full Stack Developer to own both the front-end experience and back-end architecture of our telehealth e-commerce platform. You'll work across a composable architecture leveraging Cloudflare Workers, Builder.io and Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture, partner with external development agencies and internal teams, and help manage, optimize and develop the commerce systems supporting our telehealth business — including integrations with order management and telehealth service layer 

Key responsibilities:

Development & Architecture 

  • Design and develop features across the Salesforce Commerce stack — Builder.io CMS, Cloudflare Workers, and other 3rd party integrations 
  • Make engineering decisions for Telehealth systems and how they all work together. Make architectural recommendations working with our Architect and Senior Engineering Leadership
  • Build and maintain custom integrations, and integrate third-party cartridges with necessary customizations to enable future Telehealth expansion 
  • Solve problems that span UI, business logic, and system integration 

Front-End  

  •  Translate Sketch/Photoshop/Figma designs into pixel-perfect, cross-browser, responsive builds that leverage Builder.io 
  • Own front-end performance optimization (load time, rendering, asset delivery)
  • Apply JavaScript patterns (MVVM, AMD/CommonJS) using React, ISML, and SASS

 Integrations & Platform Operations  

  •  Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot integration feeds between SFCC, SOM, TeleHealth Middle Layer. 
  •  Also have ability to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot integration feeds — products, inventory, price books, OMS, prescription/order data, Google Merchant, product reviews 
  •  Manage OCAPI/SCAPI integrations, Cloudflare caching strategy, and cache invalidation  
  • Monitor site performance (uptime, speed) and recommend/implement improvements  
  • Administer Business Manager configurations, site domains, and code repositories 
  • Manage compliance with SFCC platform requirements and release cycles 

Collaboration & Leadership  

  • Partner with external agencies, third-party vendors, and internal teams (product, clinical ops, marketing, data) to deliver end-to-end commerce capabilities
  • Identify project risks early and drive mitigation  
  • Mentor junior engineers 
What you'll need:
  • Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (ideally in the composable architecture using Cloudflare Workers) 
  • Minimum of 4+ years hands-on experience with React andBuilder.io or other headless CMS’  
  • Strong knowledge of ISML, JS controllers,SCAPI/OCAPI, and Business Manager configuration
  • Experience building and integrating SFCC cartridges (custom and third-party) • Experience with e-commerce feeds and integrations (inventory, pricing, order management, analytics) • Understanding of caching and cache management in SFCCand Cloudflare, plus performance monitoring/optimization  
  • Solid grasp of responsive design principles and grid systems 
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the stack 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field — or equivalent experience

Preferred 

  • Experience in Healthcare ideally in Digital Health /TeleHealth 
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification 
  • Experience with jQuery, Vanilla JS, document selectors, Node.js 
  • Familiarity with MVVM and/or AMD/CommonJSJavaScript patterns 
  • Experience with project/release management and version control tools 
  • Retail/e-commerce experience; healthcare or telehealth experience a plus 
  • Experience mentoring junior developers

Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details:

Health-E Commerce's compensation philosophy is grounded in market data and internal equity to ensure fairness and consistency across the team. Individuals new to the company should generally expect offers to fall between the entry point and midpoint of the salary range.  Our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression.  

  • Compensation: $140,000 - $175,000
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 10%
