ABOUT ALEYSIAN

Aleysian is a B2B technology consulting firm that designs and builds the revenue foundation connecting selling, quoting, billing, and fulfillment into a single structural system. We work at the intersection of quote-to-cash and digital commerce, engaging at the C-suite level to architect around your revenue model — not just implement tools. The result is infrastructure built to hold under the weight of growth, across every channel, at scale.

THE ROLE

The Salesforce Principal Technical Architect designs and manages the delivery of technical projects on the Salesforce platform, ensuring client needs and technical standards are met on every engagement. The ideal candidate mentors and guides junior development resources, supporting their growth while keeping every solution technically sound. Our Technical Architects work across Salesforce products and APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, AWS, Heroku, and integration and ETL tools, and stay current as the cloud-computing ecosystem evolves.

This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Chicago office.

  • Design transformational technical solutions, working directly with customers to meet their business requirements in line with industry best practices.
  • Architect technology solutions in partnership with the functional project team and client stakeholders.
  • Create application and technical design documents that apply Salesforce best practices and integrate Salesforce cleanly into the customer's infrastructure.
  • Guide application and integration development best practices across functional and technical solution architecture, environment management, testing, and Salesforce platform education.

Delivery & Trusted Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, driving conversations with customers' IT resources.
  • Enforce sound development practices and ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions.

Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior technical resources and contribute to their career development.
  • Work collaboratively with strong communication skills, especially when teaching complex concepts.

  • Experience with API management systems and security practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on client preference, typically 10–20%.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without limitation.

Preferred

  • Experience with MuleSoft or other middleware solutions (Boomi, Jitterbit, Informatica, etc.).
  • Experience with integrated development environments, source code management systems, and workflow management systems.
