We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our high performing team in Chicago. Working alongside our Senior Finance team, the Senior Accountant position is a varied and challenging role which will be responsible for processing, supporting financial inputs and producing financial results.Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing the monthly reporting packs and associated reports for assigned business entities, including consolidations
- Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations, including A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, and other G/L account
- Ensure integrity and timeliness of full cycle reporting to management, including month end and year end reporting
- Maintaining financial reports, records, accruals, and general ledger accounts
- Process and reconcile inter-company transactions
- Prepare reports as may be required by senior management
- Assist with the annual budget
- Assist the team where deemed necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Public Accounting Firm
- Good understanding of reconciliations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent user of software packages and Microsoft Office software (advance Excel skills)
- Flexible and able to handle change easily
- CPA/CA qualified preferred
