This role is responsible for the building, implementation, and ongoing delivery of SitusAMC’s enterprise business intelligence strategy. The position manages the processes involved in business intelligence and may manage staff. They oversee the approach and technology to disperse critical information and insights to the organization and clients. Working closely with business leaders, vendors and client service managers, the position manages processes to obtain business requirements, creates and administer dashboards, and prioritize development to ensure a quality product. This role will have robust and demonstratable experience building a global Information Technology-based reporting and business intelligence platform, preferably in the residential or commercial real estate industry. This role may build, mentor, and manage an agile team of business intelligence managers and developers to extract critical information from operational systems, data lakes and data warehouses, expanding the availability of data and information throughout the organization. They will partner closely with the centralized data engineering team and the centralized data warehouse team to insure the efficient, accurate and relevant presentation of information.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with business and technology team members to expand the business intelligence infrastructure of operational systems, data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Work with business and technology leaders to implement reporting strategy.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle of the business intelligence platform.
  • Advocate the usage of data and business intelligence across the organization, including demonstrating capabilities, collaborating with other technology teams, and consulting with business leaders.  
  • Create complex t-SQL statements and stored procedures and queries to extract data.
  • Build dashboards, data extracts, and visualizations.
  • May manage staff expectations, performance, and engagement.
  • Mentor, review, improve and ensure junior staff quality of work.
  • Prompt and regular attendance is required.
  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
  • 6+ years of business intelligence experience preferred, with 2+ years in mentorship role.
  • Expertise building t-SQL statement is required, preferably in MySQL or MSSQL.
  • Expertise in Tableau is required.
  • 3+ years of residential or commercial real estate required.
  • Highly Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong analytical ability, good judgment; strategic and multidimensional thinker.
  • Detail oriented, organized; prompt and regular attendance is required.
  • Continuous learner; excitement in personal growth and development.
  • Strong commitment and dedication to the position and a team player.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
