The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist – Executive Compensation to join their Total Rewards team and report directly to the Senior Manager of Executive Compensation. This role can be based in Chicago, IL.

The Executive Compensation Specialist will support the design, analysis, and administration of executive compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, perquisites, severance, and stock ownership requirements. This role will partner closely with the Total Rewards teams to ensure programs are competitive, aligned with business objectives, and executed with operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare executive compensation recommendations for all promotions, new hires, and role changes

  • Analyze market survey data and benchmark executive pay practices to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with company policies

  • Maintain and enhance tools, trackers, and standard operating procedures used for executive compensation, perquisites, severance administration, and stock ownership compliance; ensure accurate documentation and version control

  • Produce management‑ready materials for leadership review (executive summaries, compensation analyses, and presentations) and for promotion/offer packages

  • Support annual executive compensation cycles (salary reviews, incentive planning, proxy data gathering) and provide analytic support for M&A, divestitures, and other special projects

  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline program administration and reduce errors

  • Assist in building and maintaining job architecture and the broader job framework: support job mapping, job evaluation data collection, and documentation to enable coherent career pathways and compensation alignment

  • Support broader Total Rewards priorities and act as a responsive partner to HRBPs, Legal, IT, and Finance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, executive compensation, or total rewards

  • 3+years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • 3+ years in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience building professional presentations and models

  • 3+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) or working toward certification

  • Experience working with compensation surveys and market data analysis (e.g., Equilar, Mercer, WTW)

  • Knowledge of public company executive compensation principles, including equity, incentive design, and pay-for-performance alignment

  • Experience supporting executive compensation programs in a large or matrixed organization

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $161,000
