The Role

As the Senior Director of Partner Product Marketing and Alliances, you will lead the global strategy and execution for all product marketing functions related to partners and drive joint demand with our key Alliances partners. Reporting to the VP of Americas Field and Global Partner Marketing, you will lead a high-impact team working closely with partner leaders across the organization, including Technical Alliances, Partner Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Marketing leadership in AMER, EMEA, and APJ.

You will own product marketing strategy across our partner ecosystem—optimizing Okta's strategic relationships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), and Solution Providers (VARs/resellers). Your mission is to accelerate partner-influenced pipeline and revenue by developing compelling "better together" messaging, go-to-market content, sales enablement materials, and joint co-marketing plans. The qualified candidate will have a deep understanding of Agentic AI with a shared vision of how Okta’s platform can integrate with third parties to help enterprise customers safely leverage the power of AI.

Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Tech Alliance Strategy
  • Strategic Roadmap: Own and drive the overarching global partner marketing strategy for Okta Tech Alliance partners.
  • Thought Leadership: Position Okta as an industry thought leader delivering on the promise of a secure agentic enterprise.
  • Pipeline Development: Grow the global partner demand generation function to increase partner-influenced opportunity creation through strategic Tech Alliance partnerships.
  • GTM & Sales Enablement Content: Create high-impact go-to-market content and sales enablement assets to optimize Okta's relationships across ISVs, CSPs, GSIs, and Solution Providers (VARs/resellers).
  • Joint Value Propositions: Establish overall "better together" partner messaging, value propositions, and integration narratives across product lines and partner types.
  • Ecosystem Orchestration: Lead joint GTM activities with ISVs leveraging multi-vendor cybersecurity solutions that meet complex customer identity security needs, including AI agents, human and non-human identities (NHIs).
Team Leadership & Financial Stewardship
  • People Management: Mentor and grow a team of top product marketing and partner marketing talent, fostering a high-performing and motivated environment.
  • Budget & ROI: Oversee the strategic allocation and management of a global budget, ensuring effective utilization and reporting on key metrics and program ROI.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with marketing operations to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of global programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Internal Alignment: Partner closely with Technical Alliances, Partner Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Marketing leaders across AMER, EMEA, and APJ to align GTM strategies and demand generation.
  • Partner Relations: Create and maintain strong relationships with marketing leaders at our most critical global ISV partners.
  • Strategic Events: Collaborate with Field Marketing and Strategic Events to deliver powerful “better together” messaging at summits, conferences, events and webinars.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product marketing within the SaaS industry, with a focus on technology partnerships, global strategy and execution.
  • Ecosystem Expertise: Broad domain expertise across SaaS cybersecurity GTM motions involving ISVs, CSPs, GSIs, and Solution Providers/VARs.
  • Story-telling: Strong writing and editing skills with experience articulating complex use cases that can be understood across multiple formats (presentations, white papers, video, demos, web copy, etc).
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building, motivating, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data and marketing funnel insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:
$240,000—$330,000 USD

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
$216,000—$297,000 CAD
