Overview:
The Senior Enterprise Security Architecture Consultant will work directly with other project leads, managers, and/or executives to communicate business and technical aspects of the work being performed. The Enterprise Security Architecture Consultant will assist the engagement economics of the projects, including budget status tracking, billing, and collection analysis. The Information Security Senior Consultant will perform the following responsibilities:
Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding our customers’ business, building trust and providing cyber security expertise across security architecture, product selection and detailed design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the key technical consultant on all security issues, including architecture, infrastructure, program initiatives, and best practices or standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to the client on security threats, technology, standards, and practices being applied in other government and commercial enterprises in order to evolve the client’s information security program to adapt to changing threats and technology advances
• Demonstrate that the control and security measures implemented on systems are sufficient to eliminate, contain, or mitigate threats.
• Develop Cyber-security policies, strategies, and tactical plans.
Review the security-related deliverables for all major systems and perform security architecture review for multiple complex systems.
• Develop and implement custom enterprise IT security solutions for a wide array of issues.
• Perform in-depth technical analysis and provide technical, top-level advice on managing information technology security programs
Oversee Network Security Assessments, IT Risk Assessments, IT Security Technology Implementations
• Prepare reports or other necessary documentation to detail results of evaluation and otherwise meet the objectives of the Project.
• Participate in planning and implementing information systems, including structure, process, and security for new and existing infrastructure system needs.
• To provide thought leadership, support business development activities, perform delivery oversight and help manage senior client engagements.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required, candidates must possess significant analytical skills which likely evolved from early academic training in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or similar discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of business experience in the areas of Information Security.
• Certifications such as QSA, CISA, CISSP, CCSK, CEH, Microsoft, Cisco, HPUX or related designations such as PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or Internal Security Assessor (ISA) would be helpful but not required.
• Experience within consulting or professional services, or at leading industry public companies is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of architectural frameworks and experience in applying security architecture principles to small or large integration projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the business relevance of information risks and the current trends and developments in information security would be helpful.
• Subject matter expertise in one or many security technologies – such as identity management, protective monitoring, encryption, cloud security, network security, application security etc;
• Ability to articulate security advice directly to key stakeholders, including up to C-Level Executives is required.
• Knowledge of security areas such as Auditing, Policy, Database Security, Firewall Design and Implementation, Risk Analysis, Identity Management, Access Management, or Web Services, Application development is very desirable.
• Writing and interpersonal communication skills are expected to be of a high quality.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently is a must.
