What You’ll Do:

A Senior Loan Closing Specialist is responsible for facilitating the commercial loan closing process through pre-funding and post-closing stages; including but not limited to; due diligence, imaging, coding and monitoring. Reviews attorney prepared loan documentation to ensure adherence with credit approval. Liaises between all parties to ensure timely and efficient closings that meet the expectations of clients, lending teams, servicing departments and attorney. Performs post-closing documentation collection and exception maintenance.

• Prepares/Processes due diligence and supporting documentation to verify compliance with credit approval and procedures. 
• Completes/Processes loan coding, imaging, due diligence, insurance collection, documentation and booking ticket requests, executed documents, and. 
• Liaises and communicates between all parties, identifies and works to resolve issues.
• Conducts initial review of attorney prepared loan documentation to ensure adherence with credit approval.
• Coordinates the application of loan deposits and disbursement of loan proceeds to ensure funds are applied correctly and costs and invoices as paid at loan closing.
• Collects and submits post-closing document exception clearing items.  Prepares original loan and recorded documentation for transfer to record retention

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of previous banking experience. 
• Proficiency with commercial loan documentation, knowledge of regulatory compliance, and experience with nCino platform.
• Familiarity and understanding of attorney prepared documents. 
• Ability to effectively manage time and multiple transactions simultaneously.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• General Computer Skills; MS Excel and Word skills desired.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $ 28.37- $ 37.02 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
