Lead and enhance global People Operations, focusing on employee lifecycle management, operational excellence, and compliance across multiple regions.

Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.

We're not looking for someone to simply run People Operations. We're looking for someone to help reinvent it.

AI is changing every function, including ours. We believe repetitive work should disappear so our teams can focus on solving harder problems, creating exceptional employee experiences, and building systems that scale.

We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Global People Operations to help build that future.

You'll lead our global People Operations team supporting employees across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC while helping redefine how People Operations operates at scale. You'll partner closely with the Director, People Operations and Programs to challenge legacy thinking, leverage AI and automation, and build a global operating model that is scalable, intuitive, and trusted.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, developing exceptional leaders, and building systems that last. If you're energized by creating what's next instead of maintaining the status quo, you'll thrive here.

This role is hybrid based in Santa Clara, CA.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • You’re a builder who sees opportunities where others see process. You love creating better ways of working and aren’t afraid to challenge how People Operations has traditionally been done.
  • You’re an experienced leader who develops high-performing teams, creates clarity in ambiguity, and builds trust across functions, regions, and leadership teams.
  • You have 6+ years in HR or People Operations, including 3+ years leading distributed global teams in a high-growth environment.
  • You bring deep expertise across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, HR systems, global operations, and multi-country compliance.
  • You believe AI, automation, and thoughtful operational design should eliminate repetitive work so teams can focus on what matters most: people, strategy, and impact.

What We Need

  • Lead and elevate our Global People Operations team across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC, creating an organization known for operational excellence, exceptional partnership, and strong leadership.
  • Build the future of People Operations by designing scalable operating models, leveraging AI and automation, and continuously improving how work gets done.
  • Create consistent, high-quality employee experiences across the entire employee lifecycle while supporting both direct entities and EOR populations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to turn complex global challenges into simple, repeatable, and trusted processes that scale with the business.
  • Develop future leaders, foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement, and help shape the next generation of People Operations.

What You Will Learn

  • How to build a modern, AI-enabled People Operations organization that scales globally.
  • How operational excellence becomes a competitive advantage through thoughtful systems, processes, and employee experiences.
  • How to influence company strategy by partnering closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • How to balance global consistency with regional flexibility across multiple countries and employment models.
  • How to lead through ambiguity, experiment with new ideas, and help redefine what great People Operations looks like.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.

Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
