This position is fully remote. If a candidate is within commuting distance from our Greenville, SC office or from our Alpharetta, GA office, the candidate is more than welcome to work hybrid.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and prioritize the work appropriately
· Communicate with the courts, clients and opposing counsel
· Handle the supervision of our North Carolina and South Carolina team
· Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations
· Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
· Draft and record legal documents
· Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections requirements (as applicable)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Candidate should have at least one year of Law Firm experience handling foreclosures.
· Document preparation including but not limited to Notices of Sale and Deeds
· Experience operating in Loansphere/ BKFS
· Creative in problem-solving and takes initiative when issues arise, with ability to use good judgment or obtain direction or clarification where needed
· Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
· Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
· Knowledge of Mortgage Foreclosure Law
Required Education and Training:
· Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
· 3+ years experience in handling foreclosures cradle to grave
