The Event Technology Senior Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology solutions for enterprise-level events, including two high-visibility flagship programs, a roadshow program and a developer program.
This role will lead the day-to-day implementation and maintenance of event technology across our portfolio - from registration to mobile app, website, and beyond.
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, detail-driven project leader, and problem-solver with experience solving business challenges with event tech solutions, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.
What you'll do
  • Lead end-to-end execution of event technology solutions (registration systems, mobile apps, speaker and sponsor portals, attendee-facing tools), ensuring stability, quality, and flawless operation across assigned events.
  • Provide input and hands-on execution for configuring and optimizing event technology tools, including branding, customer-facing flows, and integrations.
  • Define and manage project scopes, timelines, and technical implementation plans for assigned events, partnering closely with Marcom, Creative, Marketing stakeholders, and partner agencies.
  • Establish and run comprehensive QA and testing frameworks, managing ticket triage, bug resolution, and continuous improvement of the event tech stack.
  • Drive experimentation and data-informed analysis of event technology performance using a "test and learn" approach, translating innovation goals into actionable execution plans.
  • Develop and maintain best-practice documentation, process guidelines, and reusable templates for microsites, registration platforms, and digital experience environments.
  • Lead setup and management of integrations with third-party partners, leveraging automation to improve processes, scalability, and productivity as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging experiential and event technology platforms, making recommendations to enhance the attendee experience and operational efficiency.

Expected results
  • Flawless delivery of event technology across flagship and non-flagship events, demonstrated by minimal technical issues, on-time launches, and consistent positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Efficient project execution and cross-functional coordination that reduces turnaround times, improves workflow clarity, and ensures all tech requirements are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Measurable improvement in event performance metrics, including enhanced attendee engagement, accurate data capture, and successful adoption of event technology

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in event technology, event project management, digital event production, or related roles.
  • 2+ years experience working with a high growth enterprise technology SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of event tech platforms (e.g., registration systems, mobile apps, virtual/hybrid platforms, onsite hardware).
  • Must demonstrate end-to-end understanding: from registration to scanning to leads to business metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities leveraging a project management tool
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including flexible hours during event delivery cycles.
  • Natural inclination toward thorough testing, quality assurance, catching issues early and creating systematic approaches to ensure stability.
  • Direct experience with key event technologies such as RainFocus, Cvent, Swoogo, Splash Amego and Sessionboard.

Preferred Qualificat
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise events (5,000+ attendees, multi-day, global, hybrid).
  • Extensive Rainfocus experience
  • Familiarity with project management software ( Jira, Trello, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Experience supporting onsite event execution
