So if wanting to do more, own more, and make a bigger impact comes naturally to you, then you may be the person we're looking for to join us in our next stage of growth.

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Platform Experience team at MNTN! As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead how MNTN turns customer needs and market gaps into scalable solutions, partner integrations, and new business lines. Acting as a senior platform subject matter expert (SME), you will drive complex pre-sales engagements, set the standard for how solutions are designed and launched, and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Business Development to shape the roadmap and drive long-term customer success. You will also mentor Solutions Architects and raise the bar for the team.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design of technical solutions with customers, prospects, and internal teams that leverage MNTN’s platform and meet real market needs, owning the most complex and strategic engagements.
  • Act as the senior product and technical SME in pre-sales, including enterprise and executive-level conversations, helping sales teams uncover needs, articulate value, and address technical questions or objections.
  • Analyze gaps, closed-lost themes, and unmet customer needs, then own the cross-functional effort to turn them into new solutions, integrations, and enablement opportunities.
  • Own and scale strategic partnerships with third-party platforms, leading the customer use case and application of technical integrations across measurement, data, and analytics partners.
  • Develop customer use cases and quantify market opportunities to inform roadmap prioritization, and advocate for those priorities with Engineering, Product, and Business Development leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional launches of new solutions and partnerships, creating internal and external playbooks and launch materials that become the team standard.
  • Build scalable sales enablement resources such as positioning guides, FAQs, process documentation, and troubleshooting frameworks, and train Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to use them.
  • Mentor and coach Solutions Architects, share best practices, and help set the technical standards and processes for the team.
  • Stay ahead of AdTech and CTV trends and serve as the go-to expert on competitors, partners, and the broader ecosystem, sharing competitive and market insights with leadership.

What success looks like

  • Drive new revenue and customer growth by identifying customer and market needs, producing scalable solutions, and driving adoption across the customer base.
  • Lead the end-to-end rollout of new customer solutions, working cross-functionally across identification, discovery, prioritization, development, beta testing, go-to-market planning, deployment, implementation, enablement, partner management, and ongoing technical support.
  • Influence the product and integration roadmap with data-backed use cases and market sizing, so Engineering and Business Development invest in the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Serve as the trusted SME on high-value pre-sales opportunities, helping Sales win and expand strategic accounts.
  • Strengthen existing customer growth and sentiment as the ongoing SME for new integrations and cross-platform solutions.
  • Raise the effectiveness of the broader team by mentoring Solutions Architects and leaving behind playbooks, processes, and enablement that scale beyond your own deals.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years of experience in a sales engineering or solutions engineering role, including experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Prior experience in adtech or performance marketing, with a deep familiarity of competing CTV and performance marketing platforms, as well as key players in measurement, audience data, and inventory.
  • Proven experience leading Go-To-Market efforts, such as launching new products, integrations, or partnerships from concept to adoption.
  • Experience building and managing technical integrations or partnerships with third-party platforms.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • A deep understanding of customer challenges, with the ability to position solutions that address their needs while emphasizing the relevance and benefits of our offerings.
  • Proven ability to work with and influence sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs and market demands.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching teammates, and a track record of building playbooks, processes, or enablement that others adopt.
