Develop and optimize B2B content across digital and print channels. Responsibilities include content strategy, writing and editing, SEO/AEO/GEO optimization, web content management, brand voice consistency, customer research, competitive analysis, KPI monitoring, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to improve engagement and demand.
As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will help lead and support the creation and optimization of high-impact content across multiple industries. This role blends hands-on writing and editing, SEO/GEO/AEO optimization, and content strategy development, with a strong focus on brand voice consistency and best-in-class content standards across both digital and print channels. You will work closely with strategic marketing partners and cross-functional teams to translate complex products, services, and solutions into clear, compelling, and audience-focused content that drives awareness, engagement, and demand.
Responsibilities:
- Support strategic alignment between business objectives and Wesco’s overall web strategy by partnering with key stakeholders on web content structure, placement, development, and execution of a seamless, customer-focused user experience.
- Develop, recommend, and execute B2B content strategies aligned to business objectives, buyer personas, and channel-specific best practices.
- Optimize web content for SEO/AEO/GEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, internal linking, and content structure.
- Apply web writing best practices, including scannability, accessibility fundamentals, and user-focused content design
- Monitor customer engagement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of web content and provide insight on how to improve or expand user experience.
- Assist with research and analysis activities such as web metrics/trend analysis and tracking, competitive web site/eCommerce monitoring, customer research, and competitor research.
- Support sales and marketing needs of sales and supplier product groups at global, national, regional, and local levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent education and experience required
- Master's Degree - Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- 4–6 years of progressive marketing experience, Marketing strategy and implementation, including a working knowledge of multi-channel marketing and associated best practices.

- Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), working knowledge and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML or WordPress skills.
- Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
- Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
