job purpose

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced analytics solutions, reporting frameworks, and planning tools that enable data-driven decision-making across all functions of the supply chain. This role will serve as a technical subject matter expert — leveraging SQL, Power BI and Lyric— to build and maintain scalable reporting, own the strategic network model, and drive the buildout of planning capabilities within Lyric (supply, production, and demand planning). A strong emphasis will be placed on rapidly adopting and operationalizing new technologies, with a focus on improving and expanding supply chain planning capabilities.

responsibilities:

  • Drive the buildout and enhancement of planning capabilities within Lyric, including supply planning, production planning, and demand planning modules — from configuration through user adoption.
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of the strategic network model, leveraging tools such as Lyric or similar platforms to support scenario analysis, capacity planning, and network optimization across the supply chain.
  • Design and develop analytical tools, reports, and dashboards in Power BI to deliver actionable insights and address key challenges across the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain scalable SQL-based queries to support reporting, analytics, and planning tool development.
  • Partner with the Data & Decision Intelligence team to define business requirements, validate data definitions, integrate new data sources and metrics, and ensure the data model supports supply chain reporting and planning system needs.
  • Explore and apply emerging analytics techniques — including predictive modeling and machine learning — to enhance planning accuracy and operational decision-making.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives and organizational priorities.

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in an analytics, supply chain, or operations-focused role, with hands-on experience building reports and data-driven solutions (supply chain/operations experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong SQL skills required, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries; advanced proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, including working knowledge of DAX and data modeling concepts such as star schema design strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation or automation is a plus.
  • Interest in or exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and core business processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or NetSuite preferred).
  • Exposure to supply chain planning platforms such as Anaplan, Lyric, or comparable tools (preferred).
  • Experience with network design/optimization preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including scenario modeling and complex data manipulation.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in all analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a growth mindset.
