Summary:

Responsible for developing and executing proactive sourcing strategies to build robust, diverse talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders to identify, engage, and nurture high-quality talent aligned with current and future workforce needs.

The Senior Sourcing Specialist brings deep market expertise, creative outreach strategies, and data-driven insights to elevate the organization’s talent pipeline and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies for high-impact and niche roles
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines aligned to workforce planning priorities
  • Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify competitive talent pools
  • Develop and manage talent communities for ongoing engagement

Business & TA Partnership

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring leaders to understand role requirements and business drivers
  • Provide labor market intelligence, competitive insights, and talent availability data
  • Advise on sourcing strategies that align with diversity and inclusion goals
  • Support intake meetings with market perspective and recommended search strategies

Candidate Engagement

  • Identify and engage passive candidates through creative outreach techniques
  • Craft compelling messaging tailored to targeted talent segments
  • Conduct initial outreach conversations and pre-screening as appropriate
  • Maintain ongoing candidate relationships for future opportunities

Data & Market Intelligence

  • Leverage sourcing tools, platforms, and analytics to optimize pipeline development
  • Track sourcing effectiveness, conversion rates, and pipeline health
  • Analyze trends to refine sourcing approaches and improve results
  • Share competitive insights with TA and HR leadership

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate candidate data within the applicant tracking system
  • Utilize sourcing technologies and platforms effectively
  • Continuously explore new sourcing channels and tools
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies and applicable employment laws

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience, with a focus on proactive pipeline development
  • Demonstrated success sourcing for complex, specialized, or senior-level roles
  • Strong understanding of labor market dynamics and competitive talent landscapes
  • Advanced proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent databases, research platforms, etc.)
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
