Being a Senior Technical Writer at iManage Means…
You will be part of the iManage Enablement team, delivering and managing content across multiple mediums to empower our customers and partners to succeed with iManage products and services.
You are a detail-oriented, adaptable, and self-driven technical writer with strengths in documentation, business process communication, and persuasive writing. You will partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to create high-quality technical documentation and communications.
You will also develop deep expertise in the iManage product suite while collaborating cross-functionally with teams including Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Cloud Services, Professional Services, Customer Adoption, User Experience, Support, and R&D. Together, you will create and evolve learning resources that drive product adoption and customer success.
iM Responsible For…
- Developing clear, accurate, and user-focused product documentation by understanding product features, benefits, and customer use cases
- Identifying opportunities to improve and evolve existing content and documentation processes
- Structuring and tailoring content for different personas, including end users, knowledge workers, system administrators, and iManage partners
- Building a strong understanding of product functionality through hands-on experience with the platform
- Collaborating with SMEs to ensure documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with real-world use
- Creating content solutions that address the needs of customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Adhering to and contributing to iManage content standards, style guides, and publishing processes
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- 7+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or related roles within SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-focused content
- Experience creating targeted, audience-specific documentation that drives usability and product adoption
- Experience documenting SaaS products, cloud services, and/or multi-tier on-premises applications
- Understanding of cloud environments, deployment models, APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods (OAuth, SSO)
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Zendesk, Jira, Beamer, and WordPress/WPEngine
- Experience using AI to accelerate or streamline content creation and review processes, including tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude
- Ability to organize and synthesize complex information from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

- Experience with iManage products
- Experience leveraging analytics and feedback mechanisms (CSAT, NPS, surveys, Google Analytics, Power BI, Grafana, Twilio Segment) to improve content effectiveness

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $110,000–$135,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
