As a member of the team, you will work on all phases of design, development, testing, and maintenance of our full stack applications. Additional responsibilities for this role can also include but not limited to interacting with multiple business units for project development and data reporting.
Role Description
- Design, develop, and support our databases (SQL, NoSQL) and internal full stack applications (Vue, Node.js)
- Work closely with the team to maintain existing applications and support end users
- Design new tools that will help in data collection that helps drive business decisions
- Requirement gathering from business units, including engineering and sales, as well as interaction with customers, when necessary, to fully understand solution needs.
- Be comfortable interacting with third party vendors to integrate business systems or to assist in development of applications
- Assists with researching, testing, and deployment of reporting-based projects.
- Follow a strong and reliable software development life cycle process (code changes, testing, deployment)
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your work and planned changes
- Work with Business Analyst to understand business needs, research solution options, and recommend tech solutions to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical degree highly preferred.
- 2-5 years working closely within a Web or Mobile Solution / Application development environment
- Experience working with project teams to develop and deploy customer centric solutions using agile-based methodology
- Experience working with Vue, React, Node, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Google Firebase, Express
- Working knowledge of SQL/MYSQL and NoSQL
- Working knowledge of REST APIs usage and development.
- Experience developing in Azure, AWS or other Cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity / experience in other Web programming languages or platforms (.net, Python, PHP, etc.)
- Experience with mobile app development
- Shell scripting experience.
Special Requirements
- Occasional travel necessary to accommodate for global and regional meetings, workshops or training.
- Ability to occasionally join calls before / after traditional office hours
