WHO WE ARE

We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE'LL NEED

Wingstop is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and govern scalable, cloud-native solutions across our enterprise technology portfolio. This role owns end-to-end solution architecture — spanning cloud infrastructure, application integration, and key SaaS platforms — and administers Salesforce as one of several platforms within that portfolio.

This role serves as an architectural partner across our technology landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term business strategy. You'll drive cloud architecture strategy, DevOps best practices, and enterprise solution design in a fast-growing, multi-unit environment.

You will drive delivery & release governance by developing and presenting solution designs and planned deployments through Weekly Architecture Review Board (ARB) for technical alignment and Weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) for release approval and risk management.

What You'll Do

  • Design and govern cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure, applying patterns such as microservices, containers, serverless, and event-driven architecture

  • Own solution architecture across the enterprise technology portfolio, including cloud infrastructure, key SaaS platforms (including Salesforce: Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue Cloud, TaskRay), and supporting systems

  • Administer Salesforce, including configuration (Flows, page layouts, validation rules, objects), security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), sandbox strategy, and release management

  • Design and govern API and middleware integrations (e.g., Talend, OIC, MuleSoft, AWS) connecting cloud and SaaS platforms

  • Define and champion Infrastructure as Code practices and CI/CD pipeline design

  • Drive automation across Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Testing functions

  • Evaluate cloud and SaaS platforms against non-functional requirements, including scalability, security, resiliency, and cost

  • Establish scalable integration standards, cloud security practices, and data governance practices

  • Be a thought leader and partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Franchise Operations, Digital, and other Tech teams to translate business needs into enterprise solutions

  • Provide technical leadership to implementation partners by reviewing technical designs

  • Ensure enhancements align with a long-term enterprise roadmap

  • Drive AI enablement across the portfolio

  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and module expansions

  • Develop and maintain documentation, integration mappings, data flow diagrams, and deployment runbooks

  • Develop and present architecture designs and technical risk reviews to the Architecture Review Board (ARB)

  • Develop and present deployment plans, change records, risk mitigation steps, and rollback procedures to the Change Advisory Board (CAB)

  • Monitor post-production performance and integrations; perform root cause analysis and remediation as needed

  • Partner closely with project managers for various initiatives to ensure technical delivery is sequenced with architectural dependencies clearly identified

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, enterprise systems architecture, or cloud architecture

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or Azure

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture and integrations, Salesforce Dev/Admin certifications a plus

  • Proven expertise in API and middleware design (MuleSoft, OIC and Cloud Native capabilities)

  • Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, DevOps, and release governance

  • Experience debugging production software, monitoring tools like DataDog.

  • Experience with version control like GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and best practices. Automated deployment experience using Jenkins/Amazon Code Deploy/Pipeline

  • Experience working with senior business stakeholders

  • Retail, QSR, or multi-unit experience preferred

  • Certifications in Salesforce preferred.

WHO YOU ARE

No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to help. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can.

You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You’re curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don’t just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward.

You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren’t afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward.

You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback. You understand the importance of teamwork and ensure that your actions build others up rather than break them down.

You push yourself and others to be better. You embrace healthy conflict, knowing that great ideas and strong teams emerge from honest, constructive conversations. You believe that leaders create leaders and are committed to fostering a culture of growth, challenge, and continuous improvement.
