Job Overview
CX Strategic Insights & Decision Analytics is Care's think tank for its hardest, most ambiguous problems. We consult across the organization and turn first-principles analysis into confident, decisive action for our leaders. As Sr Business Analysis Manager, you will lead analysis on high-stakes questions, including HSI experience and churn. You will partner across Care, Product, Marketing, Finance and Network teams to deliver insights and recommendations that move key business outcomes. Success is measured by the quality of your insights, the influence of your recommendations, and the business impact they drive. The work influences organizational strategies and customer experiences by enabling data-driven improvements and informed business actions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end analysis on Care's most complex, ambiguous business questions — from framing the problem through delivering a recommendation
  • Apply advanced analytical, statistical, and experimentation techniques to identify what drives outcomes, size opportunities, and prioritize resources
  • Build scalable data and reporting solutions, including dashboards and self-service tools, supporting enterprise objectives
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that turn complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams as a trusted advisor, driving alignment and action on key recommendations
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by business management

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related work experience, OR Advanced degree plus 5 years of related experience
  • Acceptable areas of study: Data Analysis, Data Science, Decision Science, similar quantitative fields, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7–10 years of analytics experience solving ambiguous, high-stakes business problems using quantitative approaches
  • Advanced SQL — querying and analyzing complex, large-scale datasets
  • Data visualization / BI tool proficiency (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Advanced analytics, including experimentation design/A/B testing, competitive analysis, and quantitative research
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex analytical findings for senior/executive audiences and drive alignment on recommendations
  • Data storytelling — translating quantitative findings into clear, decision-ready narratives
  • Stakeholder management — partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams (Care, Product, Marketing, Finance, Network) as a trusted advisor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a statistical/data science language (Python, R, or Go)
  • Financial modeling
  • Experience with churn, retention, or customer lifecycle analytics in a subscription business
  • Telecommunications, broadband, or HSI experience
  • Management consulting, strategy, or internal consulting experience

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $116,040 - $209,280

National Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
