As a Senior Finance Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 Finance), you will lead enterprise-level client engagements and provide expert guidance on the implementation, optimization, and integration of financial systems. This role requires a deep understanding of D365 Finance capabilities and architecture, along with a strong track record of delivering functional solutions across the financial landscape.

We are looking for a highly experienced D365 Finance professional with approximately 7-10 years of hands-on platform experience, such as serving as a Controller, Finance Director, or ERP Manager with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics. You should be confident advising client executives and leading strategic finance transformations with best-in-class D365 solutions.

What you will do:
  • Lead end-to-end implementations and upgrades of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance for mid-size and enterprise clients
  • Provide deep functional expertise across financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Landed Cost, and Cash and Bank Management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client finance teams and executives, helping translate complex business requirements into scalable and effective D365 solutions
  • Conduct discovery workshops, perform gap analyses, and create solution architecture plans to ensure best-fit configurations
  • Oversee configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities across multi-entity, multi-currency environments
  • Provide leadership during go-live readiness, cutover planning, training, and post-implementation support
  • Stay up to date with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform, Power BI, ISVs, and D365 product updates, and apply them to client solutions
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal methodology development and knowledge sharing
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems; CPA, MIS, or MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including implementation, configuration, and support
  • Experience may include both consulting and internal finance leadership roles, such as Controller or Director of Finance
  • Strong functional expertise in financial areas such as General Ledger, AP, AR, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Landed Cost, and Cash Management
  • Proven experience leading multiple full-cycle D365 Finance implementations or upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, regulatory compliance, and core accounting principles
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate), and third-party ISVs commonly integrated with D365
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive solutions from concept through execution
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executive stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams
  • Willingness to travel approximately 3 to 5 weeks per year
