About Lovesac

We are a young-at-heart, fast-growing furniture company, dedicated to helping people fill their homes with Total Comfort™. We do this by designing and innovating furniture solutions that are adaptable, washable, expandable, and delivered right-to-your-door-able, allowing our customers to live the life they want to live.

Our Designed for Life mission started with Sacs, a seat so much better than your classic beanbag made with repurposed Durafoam and designed to reduce environmental impact while providing unimaginable, cloud-like comfort. From there, we expanded the possibility for sustainable furniture with Sactionals, a customizable modular sectional that can be endlessly rearranged to evolve with you. Our product line has grown a lot since our Sacs days, but our goal will always remain the same – to create truly adaptable, comfortable furniture that can be with you for life.

About our Culture

At Lovesac, we strive to be an employer of choice by embodying a culture that encourages team members to think and dream big. We call this Top Ambition. We aim to not only excel within our industry but also make a meaningful impact on the world. Above all else, we’re driven by love (because it matters) and are dedicated to promoting love and happiness in all aspects of our work. It’s about success, of course, but it’s also about making a positive impact on everyone our business touches.

About the Role

The eCommerce Technical Sr. Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for the day-to-day delivery, quality, and performance of Lovesac's eCommerce platform. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for our eCommerce system integrator and development partners, owning release execution, code and architecture review, environment and integration health, and technical acceptance of delivered work on our enterprise commerce platform (Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and its storefront experience layer.

This position is remote and will report into the Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

What You’ll Do

Delivery & Release Execution
  • Serve as the day-to-day technical point of contact for Lovesac's eCommerce system integrator and development partners.
  • Own the monthly release cycle end to end: coordinate scope, review code and configuration, validate in staging, and provide technical sign-off before production deployment.
  • Perform hands-on code and architecture reviews of vendor-delivered work on Adobe Commerce (Magento) or Salesforce Commerce Cloud and the storefront experience layer, holding delivery to Lovesac's quality and security standards.
  • Triage and resolve production issues, coordinate root-cause analysis with partners, and verify fixes and hot-patches.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and release records so platform knowledge stays in-house.
Platform, Integration & Quality
  • Monitor and help improve site performance, uptime, page speed, and Core Web Vitals across the storefront.
  • Own the health of commerce-side integrations (orders, inventory, catalog, PIM, POS, payments, tax, and fraud), troubleshooting data and contract issues with the integration team.
  • Validate test coverage and drive growth of automated regression testing (WebdriverIO, BrowserStack) as part of every release.
  • Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and analytics implementation, and partner on technical SEO health (structured data, crawlability, indexation).
  • Support Architecture Review and Security Review gates, ensuring delivered work meets security, data privacy, and accessibility requirements.
Vendor & Technical Oversight
  • Hold the system integrator accountable to SLAs, velocity commitments, and the agreed scope, escalating gaps early.
  • Review vendor estimates and solution designs, providing an independent technical check on effort, risk, and dependencies.
  • Validate that AI-augmented delivery produces quality output, with defect rate and rework tracked, not just speed.
  • Help evaluate and onboard delivery partners and tooling as the eCommerce program evolves.
Platform Breadth & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain strong, current technical capability on our commerce platform (Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and keep broad familiarity with the enterprise commerce landscape.
  • Provide technical input into platform and architecture evaluations, bringing an objective, evidence-based view of options, trade-offs, and effort.
  • Identify opportunities to internalize knowledge and reduce dependency on any single partner.

Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.
