Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing and enhancing analytical and reporting tools and data sets to produce valuable insights that drive business improvements. The ideal candidate will lead a team of analysts, guiding them to deliver actionable reports and analytics that meet the division’s data needs while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
In addition to overseeing analytics, this role involves managing Performance Guarantees with financial risks, requiring a high level of accountability and attention to detail to mitigate potential liabilities. The successful candidate will proactively identify areas for improvement, develop and execute strategies, and maintain compliance with key commitments.
Strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise are essential. The candidate must have experience with relational databases (e.g., Teradata, MS SQL) and dashboard development using Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with the healthcare insurance industry is highly preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor and 5 years experience in presenting analytic results/insights to audiences at different levels OR 8 years analytics experience;
  • 5 years experience in data analysis and information reporting; 
  • 2 years leadership and/or supervisory experience;
  • Experience with negotiation, decision making, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Interpersonal skills including but not limited to verbal and written communication;
  • PC experience to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • SQL, SAS and Teradata or other reporting tools / languages experience.
  • Initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside in perspective to identify innovative solutions.
     

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics.
  •  Familiarity with the healthcare insurance industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in querying relational databases (e.g., Teradata, SQL).
  • Proficiency with Alteryx or other similar data preparation and automation tools.
  • Experience in developing dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, define goals, and ensure accountability.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements proactively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align actions with organizational goals.
  • Ability to resolve team conflicts and manage underperformance effectively. 

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 remote.

    The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
