Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own and maintain the annual and 120-day integrated marketing calendar as the single source of truth for tentpole moments, seasonal campaigns, and product launches
Run the planning cadence and executive stage-gate process, keeping the calendar realistic, current, and visible to every channel team and BU
Flag conflicts, sequencing risks, and resourcing gaps early, and broker trade-offs across channel owners and BUs
Lead integrated campaign development for hero programs — Prime Day Big Deal Days, CES, and other tentpole and seasonal moments — from brief through execution
Write and socialize the campaign brief for each tentpole moment: objective, audience, narrative, channel roles, timeline, and success metrics
Direct sponsorship, experiential, and event activation strategy (including on-site presence at CES) where it advances brand and demand goals
Abide by brand standards and channel guidelines when activating across the portfolio
Coordinate paid media, social/influencer, SEO/owned content, and CRM/lifecycle activity around each tentpole moment so the customer experiences one connected story, not disconnected channel campaigns
Partner with Comms & Content to align earned media and PR moments to the same calendar and narrative
Partner with Comms & Content to align earned media and PR moments to the same calendar and narrative
Manage the tentpole and brand activation budget, including day-to-day management of event, production, and experiential agency partners
Hold vendor and agency partners accountable to timeline, budget, and quality standards
Define success metrics for each tentpole moment up front, tied to subscriber acquisition and pipeline contribution, not just reach or impressions
Deliver post-campaign readouts that quantify performance and translate learnings into the next planning cycle
Keep the Sr. Director and channel-owning peers informed with clear, concise calendar and campaign status updates
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
Certifications or continuing education in project/program management (e.g., PMP, agile marketing) are a plus
6+ years of progressive marketing experience, including direct ownership of integrated campaign planning, brand activation, or event/experiential marketing
Track record of leading tentpole or hero campaigns end-to-end — brief, cross-functional coordination, execution, and readout — in a multi-channel environment
Experience coordinating (not necessarily owning) paid media, social, SEO/content, and CRM/lifecycle teams around a shared campaign calendar
Experience managing event, production, or experiential agency partners, including budget and timeline accountability
Experience in a multi-brand, multi-BU, or B2B/B2C portfolio is a plus, given the scope across MyQ, LiftMaster, and Chamberlain
Excellent integrator and project manager — comfortable being the person who holds the calendar and the room, even without direct authority over channel budgets or teams
Strong written communicator; writes clear campaign briefs and post-campaign readouts that others can act on
Commercially minded — evaluates brand and tentpole investment against acquisition and pipeline outcomes, not just reach
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders at once without losing sight of deadlines
Confident and calm under the pressure of live events and hard launch dates
