As the Sr. Manager, Projects, you will lead technical, operational, and construction-related initiatives across a nationwide network of distribution and fulfillment centers. Partnering with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams, you will develop scalable, cost-effective solutions that enhance productivity, optimize storage and material handling strategies, support new business opportunities, and drive operational excellence all while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Work Location: Remote
Work Schedule: First Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm with flexibility to work outside of normal business hours for any emergencies.
Work Travel: 50% domestic travel depending on needs of the business and subject to change.
Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $98,000 - $130,000, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical, operational, and construction-related projects supporting distribution and eCommerce operations.
- Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable, customer-focused solutions.
- Develop and present warehouse and fulfillment center solutions, including layouts, workflows, capacity plans, implementation strategies, and operational recommendations.
- Design, evaluate, integrate, test, and implement solutions that meet business objectives while ensuring operational feasibility and scalability.
- Create analytical models, financial justifications, pricing estimates, and ROI analyses to support new business opportunities and capital investments.
- Identify and implement process improvements, operational efficiencies, and automation opportunities that enhance productivity and service levels.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve project objectives, timelines, and business goals.
- Recommend and optimize storage, slotting, and material handling strategies to maximize throughput, capacity utilization, and operational performance.
- Support site implementations, project rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and all applicable operational requirements by identifying, reporting, and addressing non-compliance when observed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.
- A project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is required for both internal and external candidates.
- 5+ years of project management experience leading technical, construction, and operational initiatives, including direct or indirect leadership of cross-functional teams.
- 2+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment center, or construction environments, with demonstrated people leadership and team development experience.
- Experience managing warehouse industrial construction projects, including site selection, permitting, zoning approvals, and facility startup activities.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce and distribution center processes, including layout design, productivity analysis, and operational optimization.
- Working knowledge of WMS, SAP, ERP, or related systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders; financial modeling or pricing experience is a plus.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing warehouse, fulfillment, or eCommerce solutions in multi-site 3PL environments.
- PMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, ERP, or related business systems.
- Experience with financial modeling, pricing analysis, capital planning, and ROI development.
- Familiarity with automated warehousing technologies, material handling systems, slotting strategies, and storage optimization.
