This role is ideal for a senior mobile engineer who has shipped offline-first React Native applications to production on iOS and Android and can own a feature area end to end with minimal supervision. Expected start date: 5 October 2026.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

• Comfortable working in the native iOS and Android layers (Xcode, Android Studio) to integrate, configure, and debug native modules

• Offline-first architecture: local SQLite storage, encryption at rest, and data synchronization

• Device hardware integration: camera, barcode/QR scanning, signature capture, GPS

• Authentication with OIDC/OAuth 2.0 (Okta or comparable) and secure token storage

• REST API integration against backend services

• Mobile testing with Jest and an E2E framework such as Detox or Maestro

USEFUL QUALIFICATIONS

• Enterprise tablet deployment and mobile device management

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services

• Experience in government or regulated environments

• Mobile accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)

• Mobile CI/CD (EAS, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)

SCOPE AND SOLUTION EXPECTATIONS

Below covers the scope of work we anticipate the contractor supporting throughout the project timeline.

• Build the offline-first field inspection tablet application on React Native / Expo for iPadOS and Android enterprise tablets

• Implement photo evidence capture with timestamping and geotagging
