GEICO seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Strategist, Product Adoption to join our Independent Agent Sales team. The successful candidate will directly report to the Director, Agency Sales Engagement Strategy and will be responsible for strategic planning, designing and implementing content and virtual experiences to boost agent engagement, drive profitable growth, and improve BD and AOM impact. This role will have a direct impact on GEICO’s market share across its entire network of independent agent partners.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to define and build foundational onboarding journey for new agencies and new producers.
  • Own onboarding journey (growth/profitability) for 60% of agents that don’t have a dedicated sales rep; develop and test supplemental welcome content
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to build standardized supplemental outreach and tools for BDs/AOMs to support agent onboarding journey.
  • Partner with appointment process and systems teams to identify opportunities to improve new agent experience and remove hurdles to quoting and production.
  • Test agency/producer goalsetting campaigns that communicate expectations, set targets, and deliver training and incentives that accelerate production
  • Own and evolve the portfolio of new agent training, collateral, presentations, job aids, and tools.
  • Plan, build, deploy, measure and iterate on consistent, coordinated state product rollout strategy to ensure faster, broader awareness, trial, and profitable growth across all three deployments (including teaser, launch and agency challenge campaigns)
  • Establish automated early warning/escalation/mitigation strategy for underperforming agencies/producers
  • Develop and manage recognition campaigns to encourage and celebrate agencies and producers demonstrating early success
  • Serve as subject matter expert and presenter for live and on-demand new agent trainings.
  • Regularly monitor Agency onboarding and state rollout results, collecting and elevating opportunities to improve the agent experience and production results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience as a marketing, communications or sales strategist.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Executive communication skills (writing, influencing, persuading, presenting) and a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders from corporate headquarters to regional to individual office locations. 
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in personal and commercial lines

LOCATION:

  • Remote with travel up to 5% (events, sales conference)
  • Opportunity to work in available office space at a regional GEICO office, not required.


 

Annual Salary

$121,975.00 - $189,625.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
