Legrand is seeking an experienced Stibo Product Owner (PO) to support the Central Marketing Team (CMKT) in achieving strategic objectives and priorities aligned with the Master Data Management (MDM) roadmap. The Product Owner will work under the supervision of the Legrand Product Data Program Sr Director to manage day-to-day tactical elements of product development. 
The Stibo Product Owner acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical development team. This role is responsible for ensuring the development team focuses on the most valuable tasks to deliver high-quality releases that align with the MDM roadmap. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 
• Product Backlog Management: Lead the prioritization and maintenance of the product backlog to ensure a clear and efficient development pipeline. 
• Acceptance Criteria Definition: Clearly define acceptance criteria for each backlog item to provide the development team with a precise understanding of build requirements. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with business stakeholders to gather feedback, understand evolving needs, and ensure diverse perspectives are integrated into the development process. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with architects, developers, and specialized teams (such as PCM and Hybris) to ensure technical alignment and smooth development cycles. 
• Transparency & Visibility: Ensure that the product backlog and all relevant progress information are transparent and visible to all team members. 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience: 
• Agile Expertise: A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban. 
• Backlog Management: Proven experience in product ownership and professional backlog management. 
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. 
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex MDM requirements. 
• Foundational knowledge of DMBoK data management foundations preferred. 
• Familiarity with modern database and information systems technologies, including ERP and MDM. 
• Familiarity with Jira boards and dashboards/reporting. 
• Requires strong organizational and time management skills. Close attention to detail and able to effectively multi-task is essential. 
• Strong verbal and written communications skills required to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization in order to address roadblocks, challenges or resourcing issues.  Willing to follow processes and ask questions for clarity. 

DELIVERABLES: 
• A consistently prioritized and healthy product backlog. 
• Detailed and actionable product requirements. 
• Release plans and schedules developed in consultation with the Scrum Master. 
• Regular status reports for leadership. 
• Effective communication strategies to maintain stakeholder alignment. 

EDUCATION: 
• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years’ experience in Product Owner role(s).  
• Preferred certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), Data Management Professional (CDMP)
