Position Overview

Stanley 1913 is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow our presence within the Lifestyle channel of business. This role will manage the strategic relationship with these accounts, driving sales growth, optimizing assortment, and executing merchandising strategies which expand Stanley’s footprint across the channel.  This role will manage the existing account base and penetrate new distribution opportunities.

The ideal candidate is proactive and has strong experience managing large volume highly complex multi-channel National retailers within the Lifestyle channel of business and understands the unique business needs and complexities within this channel.  Previous experience at fashion/ lifestyle brands working with large wholesale partners is highly preferred.

This is a remote position, ideally located in Chicago, IL or CST time zone preferred. As a remote employee you must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin?

What You Will Do 

  • Implementing the North American strategy and roadmap set by Commercial, Brand, and Sales Leadership to grow the Stanley business within the channel
  • Building collaborative and trusted relationships with key Retail Partners
  • Achieving sales goals, margin targets, and sell through for the accounts across the channel
  • Proactively manage a highly complex order book
  • Proactively finding opportunities to improve brand presence, expand assortment, and drive sell through in stores and online
  • Partnering with leadership to explore and identify new opportunities within channel
  • Ensuring accurate and timely forecasting for accounts, and driving collaboration with Demand and Supply Planning teams
  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing and Consumer Experience teams to elevate Stanley brand presence and activations in accounts both Brick/Mortar and online

Who You Are 

  • Minimum 7-10 years relevant direct sales experience working for Consumer Goods brands
  • Strong knowledge of retail analytics; previous experience in buying, planning or key account sales is required
  • Previous experience working with large volume highly complex multi-channel National retailers across Athletic Specialty, Sneaker/Skate Specialty, and Family Footwear is highly preferred
  • Highly collaborative

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Salary Range
$130,000—$145,000 USD
