Who we areAbout Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The artificial intelligence ecosystem is rapidly changing, from rapid growth of AI companies, to new usage-based business models, and consumer buying through Agentic Commerce. Stripe is at the center of this – we partner with 78% of the Forbes AI 50 including OpenAI, Anthropic, Midjourney, and NVIDIA.

The AI GTM team leads Stripe’s go-to-market strategy and execution to meet these opportunities. Our team works closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, and Marketing to foster the growth of these new businesses, while also working closely with some of the most innovative AI companies to drive their success and adoption of the full Stripe solution.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our team and across Stripe’s technical and user-facing teams to solve problems that benefit our users. Specifically:

  • Maintain a pulse on key metrics and health of Stripe’s AI ecosystem business, highlighting performance trends and developing action plans to drive improvements
  • Drive planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs
  • Advise the cross-functional, senior leadership team and working group to accelerate progress, identify and troubleshoot hot spots, and incubate new programs
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and Operations to refine territories and prospective account lists
  • Create and drive Stripe’s AI Solution by bringing together various teams to ensure product interoperability and global expansion capabilities
  • Drive commercialization and sales plays including pricing and field enablement
  • Work on cross-cutting strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes
Who you are

Minimum requirements
  • Strategic thinker and operator with 8+ years of work experience (including 3+ years in management / strategy consulting) with a consistent track record of excellence.
  • Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for structuring and solving highly ambiguous strategic problems and owning end-to-end execution of solutions.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
  • A “can do” attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build trust and partner with senior leaders.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in an AI, fintech or payments-focused technology company.
  • Experience working on market entry strategies for businesses expanding globally.
  • Experience working with SQL and using data to identify trends, generate insights and solve problems.
