T-Mobile is synonymous with innovation–and you could be part of the team that disrupted an entire industry! We reinvented customer service, brought real 5G to the nation, and now we’re shaping the future of technology in wireless and beyond. Our work is as exciting as it is rewarding, so consider the career opportunity below as your invitation to grow with us, make big things happen with us, above all, #BEYOU with us. Together, we won’t stop!

Get hands-on experience, training—and a leg up on a bright future.

T-Mobile didn’t become a leader by following the playbook. We got here by breaking it. We’re a disruptor that now plays on a higher tier, and we’re still raising the bar for millions of customers nationwide. If you want to work somewhere that sets the standard instead of matching it, this is your place.
This is an 11-week paid learning experience where you’ll do real work, not busywork. You’ll build relationships with other interns and leaders across the company, and you’ll be paired with mentors who will challenge you to grow skills that matter. We’ll give you hands-on projects with real stakes, and we expect your creativity and sharp ideas to make an immediate impact. You’ll work alongside T-Mobile employees who have your back and who still believe the best ideas can come from anyone.

What It’s Like

Network Supply Chain Operations keeps T-Mobile’s nationwide network running by making sure the right equipment is in the right place at the right time. We’re small enough that you’ll be seen and heard, and big enough that your work will matter. A typical week is time with operational leaders, warehouse and logistics partners, and technology teams. You’ll dig into data, test ideas with AI tools, and share what you learn. We move fast, challenge the way things have always been done, and use AI, analytics, and automation to replace manual work with smarter decisions.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own a meaningful project from start to finish. You’ll identify a real supply chain problem across our distribution centers, regional warehouses, inventory management, or logistics operations, build a solution, and validate it. You’ll use AI platforms like ChatGPT and Claude, along with data analytics and automation, to cut manual effort, improve efficiency, and sharpen decision-making. At the end of the summer, you’ll present measurable results and recommendations to leadership that help T-Mobile stay ahead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-driven solutions with ChatGPT, Claude, and other emerging technologies to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve productivity
  • Analyze supply chain performance data to uncover trends and inefficiencies
  • Build dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, and AI-assisted analytical tools
  • Evaluate inventory, warehouse, logistics, and operational processes to identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and cost reduction
  • Partner with supply chain leaders, warehouse teams, technology groups, and third-party logistics providers to understand challenges, test solutions, and support implementation
  • Lead an assigned improvement initiative from problem identification through solution development and validation
  • Measure results such as time savings and productivity gains
  • Present actionable recommendations and business impact to leadership

What It Takes

  • A strong interest in AI, automation, and data analytics, and in using emerging technologies to solve business challenges
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms, and a willingness to explore and build practical solutions
  • Foundational Microsoft Excel skills. Exposure to Power BI, Python, SQL, or automation tools is a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Curiosity, initiative, and the urgency to challenge assumptions and keep learning
  • Academic projects, personal initiatives, or coursework involving AI, data analysis, or process improvement are preferred but not required

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
  • Must have one or more course(s) remaining in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program post internship
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for external Summer Internships, please see Magenta Accelerator if interested

Relocation assistance will be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $27/hour to $50/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation.
